Looking for a treatment that will address fine lines and crepey skin?
Injectable skin boosters with Nurse Melissa may be the answer.
Our skin booster is injected into the skin to nourish it from the inside out. Just like an injectable moisturiser!
It is demonstrated to:
- Hydrate the skin, due to the the high water-binding capacity of the hyaluronic acid (which naturally occurs in the body but less is produced as we age)
- Increase elasticity because hyaluronic acid also stimulates collagen production.
- Smooth the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines.

It is important to remember that injectable treatments are medical procedures not simply beauty products, so at Hunter Plastic Surgery we ensure all patients have the opportunity to have a full facial analysis performed before appropriate treatments are prescribed and reviewed with our Plastic Surgeon. Risks and benefits of treatment are also explained in your consultation. The consultation fee of $100 for new patients is rebateable against any injectable treatment you proceed with within 3 months.
1 – You are in safe hands: At Hunter Plastic Surgery, you can be confident in the expertise of the person performing your procedure as all anti-wrinkle injections are performed by a Specialist Cosmetic Nurse, overseen by our Plastic Surgeon, Dr Moncrieff.
2 – We only use leading brand fillers and HA products: While we are not allowed to publish the brand name due to medical regulations, we can discuss it over the phone. Leading brand fillers have longer track-records of safety and effectiveness over larger treatment populations. In other words, more people have used them and been happy with the results and safety.
3 – You have access to our accredited Plastic Surgeon: Our clinic is owned and managed by Dr Nicholas Moncrieff who is available to meet you on-site, not over Skype as offered in other clinics.
Your consultation and treatment will take approximately 40-60 minutes. If you want anti-wrinkle injections as well, it will add another 10 minutes.
Our Plastic Surgeon, Dr Nicholas Moncrieff, prefers the use of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers and gels because they have a proven safety record and are associated with little to no downtime. Hyaluronic acid is a normal component of our skin that depletes with age, in this way we are only replenishing what we have lost and producing very natural looking results.
We understand that sometimes things change! Given the high demand for consultations, all we ask that clients give us at least 2 full working days notice (by phone – 4920 7700) if they are not going to be able to attend at their scheduled time to allow us to contact people on our wait-list to reallocate the time.
If appointments are cancelled or rescheduled by the patient with less than 2 full working days notice they will be charged the full consultation fee. This will result in the forfeiture of your $100 deposit for the consultation. We reserve the right to decline requests to subsequently rebook for the same client.
