Amber Moncrieff

Hunter Plastic Surgery

Amber is our Practice Director. She and Dr Moncrieff founded Hunter Plastic Surgery together in 2009.

Amber previously held senior roles in business and politics in Sydney and Canberra. She holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and degrees in Law and Commerce.

The focus Amber has on service and continued learning in our practice was recognised when she accepted the 2016 Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Award for Business Person of the Year and the Customer Service by a Whole Business Award. She has also accepted multiple awards in previous years including the 2015 Hunter Business Chamber Award for Small Business Customer Service and the 2015 MyFaceMyBody Best Practice Team Award.

Amber is also heavily involved in our industry and 2014 she co-founded the non-profit Plastics Practice Managers group to help provide support, facilitate sharing and helping her counterparts around the country shine. As part of the PPM she has co-hosted sell-out workshops and webinars aimed at raising service standards in Plastic Surgery practices across Australia.

She is also passionate about providing expert results across our practice and has undergone training herself in some of our non-surgical treatments to ensure we only offer the most effective and safe treatments to our patients.

Amber and Dr Moncrieff are also passionate supporters of a variety of charities in Newcastle and beyond. The past year they have supported the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Bravehearts (child protection advocates), Interplast and the Hunter Domestic Violence Service. Jessica Laing

Hunter Plastic Surgery

Our friendly and professional Patient Manager, Jessica, assists patients along their journey with us by providing quotations, paperwork and advice to those who commit to surgery.

She has been part of our team since 2010 and previously worked in a general practice so has a strong understanding of the referral process and the flow of information between your doctor and our surgeons.

Jessica has a passion for providing great service and to help her better understand our services, she participants in lots of training opportunities. In recent times she has become an accredited CoolSculpting Therapist as she has had experienced the power of fat freezing herself and so many of our patients ask her about it. She has also attended clinical training on breast procedures so she can help patients understand the options our surgeons provide them.

Stefanie Kelaher

Hunter Plastic Surgery

Stefanie joined us as a Clinical Administration Manager in 2016 to help us deliver a seamless process for patients between our clinic, the hospitals we work in and the health funds.

Sarah Whitelum

Hunter Plastic Surgery

Sarah joined us as a Medical Receptionist in 2016 after a decade of experience in customer service and administration roles. She is also a qualified beauty therapist so loves everything about making people look and feel their best.
