Breast lift
Overview
Over time, the breasts undergo changes in response to factors such as genetics, pregnancy, nursing, weight loss, or lack of skin elasticity that comes with sun damage and age. A breast lift, or mastopexy, is a procedure that raises and reshape the breasts sagging breasts, can provide a more youthful appearance and increase self-esteem and confidence.
For those who are happy with the size/volume of their breasts and just want them to be rejuvenated and lifted to a more youthful position, the breast lift alone can be performed. For those who want their breasts lifted and also want more volume added, a breast lift can be performed in conjunction with an implant. The augmentation mastopexy, or breast lift with implants, therefore not only reshapes and rejuvenates the sagging breast but also increases cup size.
Of course, a reduction of breast tissue can also be performed in conjunction with a lift- for more information on this topic, see breast reduction.

The operation involved is somewhat more complex than a breast lift alone and requires more planning. The results of this procedure, however, can be quite stunning.
As with standard breast augmentations, a number of different implants may be used and the incisions involved are similar to those of the breast lift alone.
